We are a small team of three. Melissa Desveaux – Author Consultant, Jody E. Freeman – Editor and Elise Rorick – Designer.
We will consult with you to meet your desired outcome for your book, take your manuscript and create a beautifully designed, professionally edited book ready for you to upload to your publishing platform. We do offer complete set-up of your book within your account, including keyword research and categorizing your book.
Each of the packages can be customized to suit your personal needs so you can choose which ever package you desire during the publishing process.
We only use reputable book publishers and you have the option to choose during our consultation.

- Additional cost – corresponding spine and back design for printed cover
- Three rounds of edits
- Full custom cover design featuring:
- Fully customized cover artwork including multiple custom photographs and/or hand painted or design elements drawn exclusively for your book! Custom photographs may include underwater or other fantasy styled photo shoots.
- Author name, book title, and up to two other lines of text included in design (all text provided by author. other lines of text may include quotes or other hooks from the book, reviews, author stats like “from bestselling author”, etc.)
- Corresponding spine and back design for printed cover included
- Three rounds of edits
Social media design work, book mock ups and Facebook profile audits for marketing, are also available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Note: For all packages, we recommend purchasing an ISBN (international standard book number). We recommend purchasing these through Bowker or Thorpe Bowker. Some publishers offer a free ISBN however please be aware that by choosing this option you will not have full control of where you can sell your book and you won’t be acknowledged as the publisher.
Meet the Team
Melissa found writing through her life experience after struggling through pregnancy loss. She has self-published three of her own books and a journal Through her writing, she realized that many people want to share their own experiences and publish their own books. She found that authors struggled to understand the writing and self-publishing process. She now finds joy in helping people start writing their own book and to get it published. Melissa also has a course to help aspiring authors write and self-publish on their own.
A long time avid reader, Jody found herself picking apart just about anything she could read at a young age. She has always had a natural eye for catching mistakes both big and small, and being able to breathe new life into weary manuscripts. After she earned degrees in English and specialized in grant writing, she realized that helping other writers polish their gold was her true passion.
As the Enchantment Artist, book designer, and photographer behind Lusicovi Creative, Elise helps creatives realize their dreams by creating enchanting imagery that connects the heart of their story to their audience. She is a self proclaimed nerd who loves the sea, the stars, and above all a good story. She specializes in helping self publishing authors sell more books by using custom artwork and design to create enchanting book covers that capture the story within and entice the reader to open the book for more. Elise always been a huge bookworm and natural storyteller. She believes in the power of captivating book covers to tell the story of the magic within. And more importantly, she believes in the power of those stories to move and connect people.
